hi,
i m an engineering final yr student from Thapar. Now i tell u damn truth about thapar MBA only,not for Btech. No doubt, for Btech Thapar is renowned, but for MBA, its risk to get admission. previous year placement records are not so good for MBA. it was 11% and 17% in last two years resp. Passed out students still struggling for JOB. i have many frends from MBA passed out. so this is the data u have now..and this is the time u have to decide. Students are not of that competitive level as we do expect in IIM..or other top MBA institutes. overall MBA environment is inferior in Thapar. it will take a immensively long time to compete with other good colleges. yet thapar MBA is unexperienced. environment is hollow. so u decide now, what to do?
if i rate IIM-A 9.9 out of 10 then Thapar MBA would be 0.4 out of 10
