SYASA is the short form of Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, the new name from February 2000. In the beginning it was named Vivekananda Kendra Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (VK YOGAS) from 1986 to 2000. SVYASA firms’ one-of-its-kind Yoga Therapy Home with a 250-bed inpatient handling service called Arogyadhama. This is a Yoga Research Health place which has been visualized for prevention and treatment of illnesses, long-term rehabilitation and for Promotion of Positive Health. SVYASA Yoga University is accredited by the University Grants Commission, Government of India.
SVYASA has a rigorous Yoga Library with a good collection of 15000 books, videos and books SVYP (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Prakashan) is the publication unit of SVYASA. SVYASA have approximately thirty-five titles, Videos and Audios Svyasa has, over the years, standardized such Advanced Yoga methods as CM (Cyclic Meditation), PET (Pranic Energisation Technique), MSRT (Mind Sound Resonance Technique), MEMT (Mastering the Emotions Technique), MIRT (Mind Imagery Technique), VISAK (Vignana Sadhana Kausalya) and ANAMS (Anandamrita Sinchana).
