Introduction
Sikkim Manipal University is instituted in the year 1995. Sikkim Manipal University is the result of a unique partnership between the Government of Sikkim and Manipal Education. Sikkim Manipal University was found with the objective of allowing for the best in education for student. SMU is greeted by the University Grants Commission and approved by the Government of India. The medical campus runs courses on medical, pharmacy, allied health and nursing while the technology field has engineering, management courses, Twinning Programmes and Applied Sciences.
