Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar was launched in January 1997 for advancement of Technical Education. The University has total intensity of more than 2.5 lakh students approx. The University has under its association 71 Engineering & Architect, 117 Management & Hotel Management and 32 Pharmacy colleges. The University was committed with the responsibility of growing the new generation of technical manpower that can spearhead the industrial development of the State. The University has undertaken the project of training students to help in the development of skilled manpower in this sector in the country in general and in the state particular.

Eligibility
The candidates must hold a Bachelors Degree (10+2+3) from a recognized University in any discipline with at least 50% Marks in aggregate.
Selection Process
The candidate Selection is based on Common Admission Test (CAT) followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
