PGCC or Prince George’s Community College, was launched in 1958 as a community college in the community of Largo in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The college serves over 30,000 students. There are over 200 academic, continuing education, workforce growth, and personal enrichment programs. There are also a number of online program and distance learning options for remote students.

PGCC [Prince George’s Community College] offers a broad variety of program that use interactive web-based applications, videotape, interactive video and multimedia computer applications in varied combinations to deliver instruction at a distance. Students who register in E Learning [Distance Learning] program generally seek added convenience, greater independence, and more autonomy in engaging their coursework. Students may elect to take a combination of distance-delivered program to help them gain a degree, gain college credit, earn continuing education units, or earn noncredit certificates.
