Osmania University was launched in the year 1918 by the Seventh Nizam of Hyderabad state, Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan. Osmania University, also cognized as OU Hyderabad, is a public university, funded and carried off by the government. It is the third most previous in southern India, the first to be founded in the formerly princely State of Hyderabad and the seventh oldest institution of higher learning in India. It is situated in the city of Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. Osmania University leads a wide range of courses admitting the academic, professional and vocational ones. The University has been licensed with an A grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
