Introduction
Nitie Mumbai founded in 1963. National Institute of Technology & Industrial Engineering (NITIE) is India’s guiding institutes imparting teaching in Industrial Engineering. Nitie Mumbai has been admitted as a centre of excellency along with the IITs, IIMs and IISc through the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (PGDIE) is the flagship program of NITIE. It is a two year full time program, planned to transform engineers to management professional, able of steering systems along the development path.

Eligibility & Selection
Admissions to PGDIE program are open to graduates in all subjects of Engineering /Technology or tantamount. The applicant must have first class degree (relaxable by 5% incase for SC/ST/PDcandidates).
Every applicant has to characterize through GATE (2010). This will be followed by Group Discussion and Interview of the short listed applicant to be held at NITIE, Mumbai. Candidates necessitate to submit a photocopy of GATE score card / printout of GATE score from website. Selection of Industry sponsored candidates with 2 years industry experience is through personal interview only
