Introduction
The Xavier Institute of Social Service institute was instituted as an extension department of St. Xavier College, Ranchi, in 1955 with the aim of training young men and women in rural development, personnel management and industrial relations. XISS is an educational institute in Ranchi, India. XISS has a sincere object of developing human resources for several sectors such as industries, business, rural development, healthcare etc in the Chotanagpur region. XISS has opened up as an institution for service and centre for academic excellence. The institute is known in the corporate world for its MBA program in Human Resources with guiding multinationals and Indian companies coming for campus interviews.
