The Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management was the first management institute in India and was established in 1953. It was established in 1953 and is claimed that IISWBM is the first B-School of India. ISWBM was set up in collaboration with the Government of West Bengal, the University of Calcutta and the Business Community of West Bengal to promote direction education.
