GMCH [Government Medical College and Hospital] is a teaching hospital of Medical Education And Research. GMCH located in Sector 32 , Chandigarh, India. The hospital was begun in response to increasing forces on the already existing PGIMER and Government Multi-specialty Hospital, Sector 16 due to high patient influx. The Government Medical College, Chandigarh was established in 1991 in Prayaas building, Sector 38. at present it is housed in Sector 32 and has 4 blocks of hospital and a devoted building for the college.
