McGill’s Faculty of Law provides 2 joint curricula in collaboration with the Desautels Faculty of Management and the School of Social Work: the MBA with integrated BCL/LLB and the MSW with integrated BCL/LLB.
The Desautels Faculty of Management and the Faculty of Law provided A joint MBA./Law curriculum. This joint curriculum offers a small number of scholars the chance to pursue legal and administrative aspects of business. Successful examinees graduate with MBA, BCL and LLB degrees, a trio that trains them for careers in govt. service public and, as well as private enterprise.
Admission Requirements
Interested scholars must meet the individual admission requirements of and employ to both the Faculty of Law and the Desautels Faculty of Management. Examinees must also demonstrate a powerful fluency in both French and English, in preparation for Law classes.
Min requirements for admission to the MBA curriculum:
An undergraduate degree from a recognized university, with a grade point average of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0 (“B” average). Successful completion of the GMAT (Graduate Admissions Test).
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) for scholars earning an undergraduate degree outside Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
TOEFL is not waived for scholars of 4-year university curricula whose language of instruction is English; a min of 1 year of regular work experience following graduation with an undergraduate degree is preferred.
Required Courses: 72 credits (18 MBA credits and 54 law credits*)
Complementary Courses: 39 credits (15-27 credits in MBA and 12 credits from the Faculty of Law)
Electives: 27 credits from the Faculty of Law.
Scholars in the joint curriculum must fulfill the 45-credit MBA curriculum with the following requirements:

The Desautels Faculty of Management provided 0-12 credits chosen from 500 and 600 level courses, for a total of 27 credits.
