The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) was founded in 1882. Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) is a top South African tertiary education institution with its primary administration in the coastal city of Port Elizabeth, which is the watersport capital of africa. NMMU made in January 2005 by the unification of the University of Port Elizabeth, the Port Elizabeth Technikon and the Port Elizabeth campus of Vista University. The NMMU Business School provides conventional graduate programmes, and leadership & management development programmes. MBA programme renders an intensive environment where active professionals are instructed in the vital fields of business management. The programme is stimulating, rewarding and enjoyable.
NMMU is one of the few really comprehensive universities, not only in South Africa but in the world. This means NMMU provide a wide range of business-related study possibilities that change from general formative programmes to programmes with a strong career direction. NMMU brings together technikon-type and university-type education. The University has 6 campuses – 5 in Port Elizabeth and one in the Western Cape town of George. The main campus is the summer strand South Campus, which is an advanced, clean and safe campus. It also boasts a towering nineteen-storey administration building.
