sir ,
please let me know whether any university through distance education offering MBA (executive) course for one year , which is recongnized by AICTE.
I am working in PSU (General Insurance CO.) as in tha manageral capacity for the last 20 yrs.
I am an aspirant for NET exam.I have done BE (Mechanical,1999) and MBA(Marketing) in year 2003.I have worked for last eight years in corporate sector. I want to enter into teaching of management. As per AICTE guidelines one must have scored 60% aggregate in MBA to apply for lectureship job. Now my score in MBA passed in 2003 is 59.66%.Althogh I can write Net exam where minimum criteria is 55%,but I will not be eligible for teaching as AICTE norms are minimum 60% aggregate in MBA course. For the same reason I am planning to do MBA again from IGNOU.Now I am having following confusions which I request you to solve.
1) Can I write NET exam if I complete MBA from IGNOU (distance learning)?I have enquired from internet sites that IGNOU’s MBA is AICTE approved. As AICTE approval is compulsory requirement to appear in NET with Management as a subject.
2) Can I apply for lectureship jobs with distance learning MBA with first class? Considering I qualify in NET but my regular MBA (passed in 2003) is second class only. Will IGNOU’s distant learning MBA in first class and NET pass qualification is perfect combination to get permanent lectureship job in Indian universities?.Do Indian universities accept distance MBA qualification as eligibility to apply for the post of lecturer?
I have passed out my regular MBA in year 2003 from a National institute of Mangement, Calcutta University.
