Various LSU post-graduate programs are ranked in the 2011 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Graduate Schools,” published April 15. For the “Best Business Schools” ranking, a total of 99 schools were ranked out of 426 MBA programs surveyed. The LSU Flores MBA Program’s ranking among public institutions was 37, while its ranking overall was 71.According to Ed Watson, director of the LSU Flores MBA Program and interim associate dean for graduate programs, education expansion into issuing markets such as Brazil and China should help bolster the program’s rankings in the years to come.On the heels of organism ranked 26th in the nation among public institutions for return on investment through Forbes.com last August, the LSU Flores MBA Program has once again been situated in U.S. News & World Report’s top 50 among public institutions.
