IRMA ANAND was launched in 1979.IRMA is a premier academic Institution offering unique postgraduate, doctoral and certificate programmes with the purpose of empowering. IRMA ANAND at Anand, Gujarat with the help of the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), the Government of India, the Government of Gujarat, erstwhile Indian Dairy Corporation and the National Dairy Development Board to offer management teaching, training, research and continually support to co-operatives and rural development systems in India. IRMA is launched with the faith, borne out by Dr.Kurien’s work in the dairy co-operatives which revolutionised the dairy industry in the nation, that the key for effectual rural development is professional management.
