IREDA is a Public Limited Government company launched in 1987, under the administrative control of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy to encourage, grow and extend financial assistance for renewable energy and energy efficiency/conservation projects with the slogan “Energy For Ever”. IREDA is devoted to maintain its position as a conducting organization to furnish innovative financing in Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency/Conservation and Environmental Technologies through efficient system & procedures for furnishing total satisfaction and transparency to its customers.
Objectives of IREDA
To impart financial endorse to particular projects and schemes for generating electricity and / or energy by new and renewable sources and conserving energy by energy efficiency.To maintain its position as a conducting establishment to furnish efficient and effective financing in renewable energy and energy efficiency / conservation projects.
To increment IREDA`s share in the renewable energy sector by way of innovative financing.Improvement in the efficiency of services furnished to customers by continual improvement of systems, procedures and resources.
