International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi was lunched in 1981 in collaboration with International Management Institute, Geneva. IMI was launched under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, as a self-governed non-profit educational society. The require for an internationally applicable management curricula led to the institution of IMI. The Institute received UNDP assistance for encouraging internationally tailored management education. Besides this it has also several other international connections with bodies like World Bank, UNDP, ILO, UNCTAD, Asian Productivity Organization etc.
