Introduction
Indian School of Mines (ISM) was founded in 1926 on the lines of Royal School of Mines, London. At present time, Indian School of Mines (ISM) is a poly–disciplinary institute providing to a broad ambit of engineering and scientific subjects and is considered among the best engineering institutes in the country.

Indian School of Mines (ISM) is a to the full Resident and co-educational university located in the mineral-rich belt of India in the metropolis of Dhanbad, Jharkhand.Indian School of Mines (ISM) is a multi-disciplinary institute catering to a wide range of engineering and scientific disciplines and is considered among the best engineering institutes in the nation was provided the tag of esteemed ‘”IIT” in year 2000 (before IIT Roorkee), but due to some administration and graduates trouble, it could not become IIT. But once again the mission for convincing it to IIT has been started.
