Introduction
Indian Institute of Technology Madras In 1956, by the German Government provided technical assistance for launching an institute of higher teaching in engineering in India. The Institute has fifteen academic departments and a few advanced research centers in assorted subjects of engineering and pure sciences, with almost 100 laboratories organised in a unique pattern of running. Indian Institute of Technology Madras is one among the first institutes of national importance in higher technological education, basic and applied research.
Information about the admissions
Admission to the MBA Programme at IIT Madras is achieved through a two step process.
The first step is the Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) / CAT.
The second step of the selection procedure consists of a group-task and personal Interview.The results of the JMET are used to short-list applicant for this step.
Eligibility Criteria
B.E./ B.Tech. with First Class from a recognized Institution or University
A Masters degree with First Class in any subject from a recognized Institution or University.
