As per your concern I will tell you instructions to use the XRD analysis facility and will also get the booking form issued by Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

Instructions
Instructions for department of Physics users:
1. Faculties are requested to give the concerned name of student, his/her entry no. and Mobile no at the field “description”. This is very essential for the TA to identify the student and call him during his measurement. However, it is expected that the concerned student shows up at the XRD facility before his Slot.
2. Please also provide the type of measurement (e.g., Thin film XRD, Powder XRD or XRR), Type of sample (thin film, Powder, Liquid etc) at the field “description”.
3. The student must also bring a filled XRD application form with signature of Supervisor.
4. It is desired that the two consecutive bookings are of similar kinds. For example, if a thin Film XRD is booked for slot 1. We will prefer a thin Film XRD is booked also for slot.2 to minimize time required for change of hardware.
5. Multiple Bookings: A faculty colleague can make multiple booking of slots as long as the concerned students are different.

Instructions for other IIT Delhi users:
1. We have fixed Friday to measure “External” (other than Department of Physics) samples. The slots will be open from time to time for users to book.
2. Detailed instructions for booking is available in the CRF booking site.
3. External users are required to bring the printed and signed form from CRF booking site during their Slot. Any hard copy form submitted to the mail box of the coordinator will NOT be considered.

Instructions for non-IITD users:
Online booking is not available for Non-IITD users. But they are requested to send a scan copy of the filled and signed form by email to the coordinator for booking a slot. Please note that the waiting time for non-IITD users can be more than two months.
