Hello sir, will you please provide me detail for the finding HBA card information through Xenserver? I want to find out correct WWN present in the HBA card through Xenserver?

Procedure of finding correct HBA card information through Xenserver is contains information about how to find the HBA card information of the XenServer, so that you can verify that the correct WWNs are presented, and read by the SAN.

For this process you need some its basic software:

XenServer with Hardware HBA cards installed.

Procedure for Xenserver WWN HBA:

Firstly Run the following command to find the model / firmware of the HBA:
find /sys/class/scsi_host/ -name modelname

Run the following command to find the port/host numbers of the HBAs:
find /sys/class/fc_host -name port_name

Run the following command to find the WWPN:
cat /sys/class/fc_host/hostXX/port_name

Where XX is the host number of the card, from the preceding command

Following are samples of the preceding command:
cat /sys/class/fc_host/host1/port_name
cat /sys/class/fc_host/host2/port_name

You can also run the following command to display HBA card information or WWPNs:
systool -c fc_host -A port_name
