Re: Workshop by IIT Bombay
rBot-Mobile was a 14 Hours Robotics workshop which involved building autonomous robots using Mobile Robotic Platform. It introduced Arduino to the students, which is an open-source physical computing platform. Arduino is an open-source single-board microcontroller, descendant of the open-source wiring platform, designed to make the process of using electronics in multidisciplinary projects more accessible. Hardware is programmed using a Wiring-based language, similar to C with some slight simplifications and modifications. Arduino is an easy to understand and implement microcontroller platform which students can use for their college or B-Tech projects. Workshop is aimed to cover the topics on Control loops, Serial Communication, Sensors, Interrupts, and DTMF etc. rBot-Mobile Robotics Workshop 2015 Details Date: 26th - 27th December 2015 Duration: 2 Days [7 hrs per day] Venue: IIT Bombay Cost of workshop: Rs 7,500/- per team Team specifications: Participants will have to register in a team with maximum of four memebers in it.
