Geography and Environmental Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University is a strong, dynamic and innovative Department that provide high quality scholarly activity, programs and courses.
At the undergraduate level they offer nine programs that cover a broad spectrum of Geography:

• Honours BA Geography
• Honours BA Geography in Combination with another Honours BA Program
• Honours BSc Geography
• Honours BSc Geography and Geomatics
• Honours BSc Geography with Environmental Science Option
• Honours BSc Physical Geography and Biology
• Geomatics Option
• Geography Minor

At the graduate level, they offer three programs are:
• Master of Arts (MA) — Thesis stream or Research Paper stream; full-time or part-time
• Master of Environmental Studies (MES) — Thesis stream or Research Paper stream; full-time or part-time
• Master of Science (MSc) — Thesis stream, normally full-time only

At the post graduate level, they offer PhD in four fields are:
• Environmental and Resource Management
• Environmental Science
• Human
• Geomatics
There are two routes of entry into the doctoral program:
• The first requires a master’s degree in geography or equivalent. Normally only a master’s student with an A- average on all graduate work will be admitted.
• The second route allows exceptional students to enter the PhD program directly from the masters program. Such applicants must have completed all MA/MES requirements except the thesis, have demonstrated a superior academic record and have satisfied other conditions
