Will I be eligible for the CAT Exam being a candidate of pursuing 3rd year BE?

I am astudent of BE 3rd year and now I want to give the exam of CAT and for that I want to get the details that will I be eligible for the CAT Exam being a candidate of pursuing 3rd year BE so can you provide me that?

No you are not eligible for the exam of CAT

Final year candidates are eligible fore the exam of CAT

Here for your reference I am giving you the details of CAT 2014:

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed graduation with minimum of 50% for the general ones and 45% for the reserved ones

CAT 2014 Application fee:
Rs. 1600

CAT 2014 Exam Pattern:
The exam consists of two sections- Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

Duration of each section is 70 minutes making the total duration to be 2 hours and 20 minutes.

The first section for the test takers is Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation with 30 questions to be answered, followed by another 30 questions under Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

For each right answer candidate scores 3 marks, and there is negative marking of 1 mark for questions answered incorrectly and 0 point for unanswered questions.

Announcement of CAT 2014 by IIMs: Last week of July, 2014
Exam Dates: October-November 2014
Sale of CAT 2014 Vouchers: August-September 2014.
Last Date of Registration: September 2014.
