University of Kerala, formerly the University of Travancore, is an affiliating university located in Thiruvananthapuram, capital of the south Indian state of Kerala, India.

Dr. P. K. Radhakrishnan is the present Vice Chancellor of University of Kerala.

He is a member of Executive Council Member of the Central University of Kerala. Formerly he was a Professor, School of Chemical Sciences in Mahatma Gandhi University.

Early Life


Dr. P. K. Radhakrishnan Born in Karunagappally in Kollam district, Dr. Radhakrishnan is a recipient of CSIR fellowship for his PhD degree from the University of Kerala. He is a life time member of the Indian Chemical Society and the Indian Science Congress Association.

Career :

Dr. Radhakrishnan has previously been the Director, School of Chemical Sciences; and Dean, Faculty of Science in Mahatma Gandhi University.

During his stint with M.G. University, he also served as a member of Syndicate, member of Senate, member of the Academic Council and Chairman of the PG Board of Studies in Chemistry.

Dr. Radhakrishnan was a member of Board of Studies in Calicut University, Kerala University and Periyar University. He also served as a Senate member of Cochin University of Science and Technology.
