For becoming a Income Tax Officer you have to appear SSC exam because Staff Selection Commission conduct this Income Tax Officer Exam.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:
Minimum age is 18 years.
Maximum age is 27 years.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidate must have a bachelors degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Computer Proficiency Test


Tier-I -> Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type) [Exam dates - 27/04/2014 & 04/05/2014]

Tier-II -> Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type) [Exam dates - 30/08/2014 & 31/08/2014]

Tier-III -> Personality Test cum Interview/Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/Document Verification.

Physical Standards:

Male

Height - 157.5 Cms
Chest - 81 cms; expanded expanses minimum 5 cms
Physical Test - Walking : 1600 metres in 15 Minutes; Cycling: 8 Kms in 30 Minute

Female
Height - 152 Cms
Weight - 48 Kgs
Physical Test - Walking : 1 Km in 20 Minutes; Cycling: 3 Kms in 25 Minutes
