Who Can Apply For Indian Forest Service
My child wants to apply for Indian Forest Service. So I am looking for the information about who can sit or apply for the Indian Forest Service. So will you please provide me the detail about the eligibility of applying in this exam??

Any graduate students may apply for Indian Forest service. The Indian Forest Service is one of the prestigious All India Services like Indian Administrative Service (IAS) or Indian Police Service (IPS). To get into IFS, a candidate has to sit for the same preliminary exam as all civil service aspirants do. For IFS job candidates should have Graduation from of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification. The candidate must hold a Bachelors degree in any of the following subjects/ disciplines. Bachelors degree with at least one of the subjects as Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science Bachelors degree with at least one of the subjects as Botany Bachelors degree with at least one of the subjects as Chemistry Bachelors degree with at least one of the subjects as Geology Bachelors degree with at least one of the subjects as Mathematics Bachelors degree with at least one of the subjects as Physics Bachelors degree with at least one of the subjects as Zoology Bachelors degree in Agriculture Bachelors degree in Forestry Bachelors degree in Engineering Here is PDF of information regarding required eligibility for apply for Indian forest Service: Information regarding required eligibility for apply for Indian forest Service Educational Qualification: Candidate should hold a Bachelors degree with at least one of the subjects namely, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelors degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognised university or equivalent.
