While Pursing 3rd year of EE Procedure to apply for Training in BHEL

What is the procedure to apply for 30 days Training in BHEL being a student pursuing 3rd year of Electrical Engineering???

First of all I clear you that BHEL or any other company in India does not offer training for 30 days, all companies including BHEL offer training for 4-6-8 Months.

Here are applying procedures for BHEL Training:

Eligibility;

The applicant passed full time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from any recognized Indian University/ Institute in the discipline of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics.

Secure 65% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all semesters.

Age should not be more than 27 years

Apply procedure:
While applying for an internship in BHEL, you first need to get an approval from training and placement cell of your institute.
A letter of approval should be addressed to The General Manager, Human Resource Development Centre, and BHEL in the month of February.
You need to pay a fee of approx. Rs.500 per week for the training.

Selection Procedure:
Here are the few steps to help you understand this process well:

Candidates will need to appear for written examination conducted by BHEL

Written test will be of objective type, wherein 70% of weight age is assigned for the technical subjects and 30% for the aptitude

A list of students who cleared the written test is prepared, and then called for the interview


Candidates are called for interview in 1:3 ratios.

I am B.TECH 3rd year Electrical engineering student and want to apply for internship at BHEL . Am I eligible or not ?

Sorry to say being B.TECH 3rd year Electrical engineering student are not eligible for internship at BHEL.

To apply for the training in BHEL, applicants must fulfil following conditions:

ü Applicants must have Passed full time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in the discipline of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics.

ü Applicants must have Secure 65% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all semesters.

ü Age should not be more than 27 years

Selection Procedure:

ü Applicants have to appear for written examination directed by BHEL

ü Written test will be of objective type, wherein 70% of weight age is assigned for the technical subjects and 30% for the aptitude

ü Selected applicants are called for the interview.

ü 75% for written test marks and 25% for interview marks.

ü applicants are called for interview in 1:3 ratios.

Training, Emoluments and Bond:

ü applicants placed on training for one year.
Basic pay during training could be anything between Rs. 26,000 and Rs. 46,000.

ü After the completion of internship, the applicants on the pay scale of Rs. 24,900 to Rs. 50500 monthly, with a pay of Rs. 249000 per annum.
