Tell me can a person apply for Internship in BHEL while pursuing 2nd year Electrical Engineering???

As far as my knowledge while pursuing 2nd year Electrical Engineering you are not eligible to apply for BHEL internship.

Here is BHEL internship criteria:


BHEL is one of the largest government organizations in India.

Eligibility:

The applicant should have Passed full time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from any recognized Indian University/ Institute in the discipline of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics.

The applicant gets 65% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all semesters.

The applicants Age should not be more than 27 years.

Selection procedure:

The Candidates will need to appear for written examination conducted by BHEL

Written test will be of objective type, wherein 70% of weight age is assigned for the technical subjects and 30% for the aptitude

The students who cleared the written test, then they are called for the interview.

Final selection list is made by assigning a weight age of 75% for written test marks and 25% for interview marks.

The Candidates are called for interview in 1:3 ratios.

Training, Emoluments and Bond:

The Selected candidates will be placed on training for one year.

Basic pay during training could be anything between Rs. 26,000 and Rs. 46,000.

After the completion of internship, the candidates will be engaged as Engineers on the pay scale of Rs. 24,900 to Rs. 50500 monthly, with a pay of Rs. 249000 per annum.
