While being B.Tech Production Engg can I apply for SAIL Exam

Tell me can I apply for SAIL Exam while being B.Tech in Production Engineering, please provide details???

Yes, final year student can apply for SAIL exam, there is no confusion in this at all.

Final marks sheet is required at the time of interview.

Eligibility:
The Candidate minimum passes degree graduation from any recognized University, pursing final degree course, with following specialization:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any of the following disciplines:
i) Mechanical ii) Electrical iii) Metallurgy iv) Chemical v) Electronics &
Telecommunications vi) Instrumentation vii) Civil viii) Ceramics and ix) Computer

With minimum 65% marks in aggregate of
all years/semesters (50% in aggregate for SC/ST candidates).

SELECTION:
Selection is based on Written Test: Eligible candidates will be required to appear for objective type written
Test.

In the written test, there will be negative marking for wrong answers, i.e. 1/4th of the allotted marks for the question will be deducted for every wrong answer.
