This University is Located in Tezpur in the North Eastern State of Assam, India

Tezpur University was Founded in 1994 .

The University Campus is at Napaam about 15 km east of Tezpur, the headquarters of the Sonitpur district of Assam.

The Napaam Campus of the is in a plot of an area of 262 acres (1.06 km2) of land.
