Online Registration of Application : 01st Sept 2014 to 18th Sept 2014
Online Payment of Fees : 01st Sept 2014 to 18th Sept 2014
Offline Payment of Fees : 03rd Sept 2014 to 20th Sept 2014
Examination Date : November 2014 (Tentatively)

Eligibility:
Academic Qualifications:
Candidate should be Graduates in any discipline from a Recognised University.

Age Criteria:
Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years i.e candidates must have been born after 02nd September 1984 and before 01st September 1993 (both days inclusive).

Selection Procedure:
Phase I –
Online Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 200 marks & Descriptive Test for 50 marks. After the online Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.

(i) Objective Test : 200 Questions, 4 Sections with 50 marks each (Total 200 marks) / Exam Duration 2 hours.

(a) English Language (Grammer, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)

(b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers

(c) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation

(d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)

ii) Descriptive Test:
Duration 1 hour duration (50 marks) / “Test of English Language” (Comprehension, Short Précis, Letter Writing & Essay)

Phase II –
Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)

Final Selection
The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase I and Phase II separately.

Eligibility

A candidate must be in the age group of 20 to 28 years on the date of applying.

He must have passed from any state of centrally recognized university with a graduation degree or equivalent.

Upper age limit is relaxed to various extents for various categories.

Only Indian nationals/immigrants from listed countries can apply for the examination.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern

Both the Preliminary and Main Exam will be an objective- based online exam of 01 hour and 02 hours, respectively.

Negative marking for wrong answers marked by the candidates in both Pre and Main Exam

The penalty of one -fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted.
