As per your demand I will help you to know about the IAS exam dates and information about the exam so that you can have idea and also apply for it easily. Here is the eligibility criteria for the exam. a) The candidate must have a degree of any of Universities b) Student appearing for their final year degree exam are also eligible to apply for IAS c) Student with professional and technical qualifications are eligible to apply. d) Student who have passed final year of MBBS exam but are yet to complete internship can apply for the prelim exam. Age Limit:- A candidate must have the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years. Here I’m telling you some important dates so that you can apply for it easily. CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAM date is 07.08.2016 CIVIL SERVICES (MAIN) EXAM, exam date is 03.12.2016 Here is the exam syllabus for IAS. Paper I - (200 marks) Duration : Two hours Current events of national and international importance. History of India and Indian National Movement. Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World. Indian Polity and Governance - Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc. Economic and Social Development - Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc. General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialisation General Science. Paper II- (200 marks) Duration: Two hours Comprehension Interpersonal skills including communication skills; Logical reasoning and analytical ability Decision-making and problemsolving General mental ability Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. - Class X level) English Language Comprehension skills (Class X level). |
