Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (ECGC) of India was established on 30 July 1957. this company provide insurance cover in respect of risks in export trade. Work of ECGC: Encourage and facilitate globalization of India’s trade. Assist Indian exporters in managing their credit risks Provide timely information on worthiness of the buyers, bankers and the countries. Facilitate availability of adequate bank finance to the Indian exporters. Providing surety insurance covers for bankers at competitive rates. Protect the Indian exporters against unforeseen losses. Provide cost effective credit insurance covers. Delivering top quality service.
