CETE: Central Teacher Eligibility Test

CTET is conducted by the CBSE, Delhi for filling vacant seats of Teachers for classes I to VIII by eligible candidates.

Following are the details of CTET:

Eligibility:

Educational Qualifications

For Classes I-V (Primary Stage) Teacher

Candidates should pass in Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and or in final year.

For Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage) Teacher

Candidate should have Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).


Who have preferred educational degree or diploma with desired % in Graduation or intermediate are eligible to sit in CTET.

Various states of India conduct separate TET exams for their undered schools.

WHAT AFTER PASSING CTET

After Passing CTET you are eligible to apply for Central Government School of primary level teacher post.

Be touch in service news and search for teacher vacancies by central government.

After applying for the vacancies, you have to sit in written exam and then interview as final step to become a teacher
