What Is The Difference Between AMIE And AMIETE

Hey buddy can you please tell what is the difference between AMIE and AMIETE I’m condused in both of them?

As per your demand I will clear your doubt to get the information about AMIE and AMIETE course so that you can have idea about it.


Here is the details about the program

AMIE is Associate Members of Institution of Engineers.

AMIETE is Associate Members of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers.

AMIE is conducted by Institution of Engineers (IE)

AMIETE is conducted by Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering(IETE).

In AMIE you require 50% marks to pass

AMIETE it's 40%. to pass

The syllabus of both are different. But both are similar in the content-level

Priority is given to AMIE

Fee/ expenditure are comparable.

Here is the eligibility criteria for AMIE.

Age: Should have age of 17 years.

Educational Qualification:
student who have passed 10+2 level with English and secured at least 45% marks

should have score at least 45% marks in aggregate in science subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

Intermediate Science Examination with English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Bachelor of Science Examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Here is the eligibility criteria for AMIETE.

Not less than 16 years of age.

Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics & Mathematics as mandatory subjects and

working experience in relevant field

Studying for higher qualification with Physics/Electrical/Electronics/Computers .

Diploma in Electronics Telecommunication / Electrical / Computers or diploma in any Engg/Technology courses (3 yr diploma)

subject to the candidate having covered subjects of Maths & Physics of 10+2 level during the diploma courses.
