What Is DCET Course
Is there any need to qualify the Diploma Common Entrance Test conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority to take the admission into B.E. Courses in Karnataka state ? If yes then provide the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) entrance exam course structure and syllabus .

For Diploma courses the Karnataka state is conducted DCET entrance exam. The Karnataka Examination Authority is conducts the Diploma Common Entrance Test, also known as DCET. The common entrance test is a gateway for admissions to 2nd Year Engineering Programmes and 1st Year Architecture Programmes offered under the lateral entry scheme at day & evening engineering colleges located in Karnataka. The KEA DCET opens the gates to secure admissions to 2nd year of engineering UG courses and the 1st year of architecture UG courses. The KEA DCET was conducted in the month of July. Important dates: Commencement of Entry of Application Online 07 Jun 2018 Last Date to Enter Application details online 15 Jun 2018 21 Jun 2018 Last date to pay the fees in the bank 18 Jun 2018 Downloading of Admission Tickets 06 Jul 2018 Date of Entrance Test 15 Jul 2018 (10:00 AM to 01:00 PM) Declaration of Result August 2018 Examination Pattern: The DIPLOMA CET will be held in one session, conducted for 180 marks with 3 hours (180 minutes) duration. Additional 25 Minutes will be given for filling Name, Admission Ticket No Version Code and Serial Number in the OMR Answer Sheet and Question Booklet The question paper will be of (Objective) Multiple Choice type. The question paper will be in different versions. Each question will have four different options. Each question will carry ONE mark.
