Here I am giving you information about important dates to apply for West Bengal SET (State Eligibility Test) organized by West Bengal College Service Commission

Important Tentative dates:
Notification: September 2014
Last date: November 2014
Test: February 2015

Eligibility:
You have to passed a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with at least 55% Marks (50% Marks in respect of SC/ST/PH/VH Candidates).
OR
An equivalent grade preceded by at least a Second Class 3-year Bachelor’s degree from an Indian University /institution recognized by UGC or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University.

Exam pattern
Exam pattern is constructed into 3 papers.

First paper is a general paper that offers general knowledge questions, logical aptitudes, teaching and research aptitudes, elementary English, basic functional mathematics etc.

West Bengal State Eligibility Test (SET) Paper II comprises of several objective type questions on the examined subject.
WB SET 3rd paper questions are descriptive ones on the subject concerned.

Paper 1: Reasoning Ability, Comprehension, Teaching Aptitude, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, Data Interpretation, Computers and Logical Thinking
