Hey Neha!! West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Medical is a state level medical entrance exam conducted annually by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) for admission to approximately 2450 MBBS and BDS seats in State and Central Government medical and dental colleges of West Bengal.


Eligibility Criteria

-Candidates must be a citizen of India

-Candidates must be 17 years

-Candidates must reside in West Bengal continuously at least for 10 years

-Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% in PCB. Whereas for SC/ST candidates minimum marks are 40% and for OBC candidates minimum marks are 45%



Exam Pattern:

The question paper booklet of WBJEE Medical will consist of 195 questions, where 115 questions would be of Biology, and 40 each of Physics and Chemistry.

The paper will be divided into two papers, one for Biology and one for Physics and Chemistry. The biology paper will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration and Physics and Chemistry will be of 2 hours.



Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected to admissions in MBBS and BDS colleges in West Bengal purely on the basis of their ranks in the entrance exam.

Window for correction (based on board’s feedback and self-induced errors) along with uploading of correct certificates etc. by candidates March 07, 2016 (10.30 AM) to March 12, 2016 (11.59 PM)

Biology Paper - 10:30 am to 01:00 pm
Physics and Chemistry - 02:00 to 04:00 pm
