The West Bengal Board Primary Education offering Bridge Course here I am giving you eligibility criteria for this course as given below:-
Eligibility Criteria:-
A) That only those candidates who had passed Higher Secondary Examination (+2) or equivalent with at least 50% marks and
b) The trainees who had enrolled themselves in the un-recognized PTTIs and successfully completed the training course in 2004-05 or enrolled themselves in such
un-recognized PTTIs in 2005-06 and completed the course but could not complete the final examination due to pending litigation will only be eligible for admission to such one year Bridge Course.
c)That such Bridge Course must be conducted by West Bengal Board of Primary Education only through NCTE-recognized training institutions within the State as per
course content finalized by experts from NCTE & the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

The process to get the registration form for one year Bridge Course offered by West Bengal Board of Primary Education is as follows:

One Year Bridge Course

The one year Bridge Course will be conducted by the NCTE-recognized and West Bengal Board of Primary Education –affiliated Primary Teachers’ Training Institutes of West Bengal.

The entire course will be supported by the Govt. of West Bengal and the trainees are not required to pay any fees in respect of this course. The course will be conducted through ‘Open Distance Learning (ODL)’ Mode.

The maximum number of candidates per Institute will be 100 (one hundred) only. There are six compulsory theoretical papers of 100 marks each and 3 practical papers of 100 marks each.

Personal Contact Programmes (classes) will be held on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays in respective NCTE-recognized PTT Institutions of West Bengal where the trainees have got themselves enrolled for the Bridge Course.

Attendance in theoretical classes is not compulsory, but in practical classes, workshops and practice teaching sessions the attendance of the students is compulsory.
