WBJEE is being directed by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for admission in dental, medical, engineering and technology, pharmacy, and architecture courses .

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or the WBJEEM is a state-government controlled centralized test, conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board for admission to many private and governmental medical and engineering institutions in West Bengal.


Examination paper pattern :

All the questions will be of multiple choice type.
All the papers will be divided into three category.
Each question in Category-I will be of 1 mark. Whereas, the questions in Category-II and Category-III will be of 2 marks.
In category 1 and 2 only one option is correct and for wrong answer negative marking of 1/4 and 1/2 mark will be implemented. However, in category 3 more than one option can be correct and negative marking will not be done.

Paper and duration
Physics-Chemistry Paper:

The exam will be of 2 hours.
There will be 80 questions of 100 marks in it.

Mathematics Paper:
The exam will be of two hours.
There will be 75 questions of 100 marks.

Biology Paper:
The exam will be of 2 hours 30 minutes.
There will be 115 questions of 150 marks.

Information brochure along proforma for domicile and income certificate will be released on 24 December 2015
Application form will be available from 5 January 2015
Last date to submit the application form will be 29 February 2016 (11:59 pm)
Required documents can be submitted till 2 March 2016 (11:59 pm)
Application fee must be paid before 5 March 2016 (11:59 pm)
Confirmation page could be downloaded till 31 March 2016 (11:59 pm)
Application correction window (based on board’s feedback and self-induced errors) along with uploading of correct certificates etc by candidates 7 March (10:30 am) to 12 March 2016 (11:59 pm)
Issuance of WBJEE admit card 4 April 2016 (10:30 am)

WBJEE 2016 due on: 17-May-16

Biological Sciences 9 am to 11:30 pm

Physics and chemistry 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm

Mathematics 3:30 am to 5:30 pm
Result will be announced on 5 June 2016
