Here is the syllabus for Chemistry.

Atoms, Molecules and Chemical Arithmetic :
Dalton's atomic theory; Gay Lussac's law of gaseous volume; Avogadro's Hypothesis and its applications
Calculations (based on mole concept) involving common oxidation-reduction, neutralization, and displacement reactions; Concentration in terms of mole fraction, molarity, molality and normality. Percentage composition, empirical formula and molecular formula; Numerical problems, Atomic mas; Molecular mas; Equivalent weight; Valency; Gram atomic weight; Gram molecular weight; Gram equivalent weight and mole concept; Chemical formulae; Balanced chemical equations


Atomic Structure
ground state electronic configurations of many electron atoms and mono-atomic ions; The AufbauPrinciple; Pauli's Exclusion Principle and Hund's Rule. Uncertainty principle; The concept of atomic orbitals, shapes of s, p and d orbitals (pictorial approach)
Concept of Nuclear Atom - electron, proton and neutron (charge and mas), atomic number; Rutherford's model and its limitations; Extra nuclear structure; Line spectra of hydrogen atom. Quantization of energy (Planck's equation E = hv); Bohr's model of hydrogen atom and its limitations, Sommerfelds modifications (elementary idea); The four quantum numbers,

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board conducts entrance examination for admission to engineering colleges of the state of West Bengal.
The interested students get admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering/ Technology/ Medical/Dental and Pharmacy in Universities/Colleges in West Bengal and B.Arch Course in Bengal Engineering and Science University.

WBJEE:
The details related to the WBJEE are as given below:

Eligibility:
The candidate should have passed the H.S.(10+2) with at least 50.00% marks in PCM or PCB. (40.00% for SC/ST candidates) and at least 30.00% marks in English.

Application procedure:
The WBJEE application procedure is as follows:

The WBJEE forms may be obtained in following ways:

The application form can get by the candidates from selected branches of United Bank of India.
The application form can get by the candidates by post from West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board.

To obtain WBJEE forms by post, candidate will be required to send a Demand Draft for payment along with the form request.

The form should be completely filled and then has to be sent by Speed Post.

Schedule of Examination “WBJEE - 2013”:
Date of Examination : 21.04.2013 (Sunday)
9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. Mathematics (100 marks)
12.30 p.m. to 2.00 p.m. Physics (75 marks)
3.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. Chemistry (75 marks)

Exam pattern :

Mathematics 60 X 1 mark each 15 X 2 marks each 05 X 2 marks each 100
Physics 45 X 1 mark each 10 X 2 marks each 05 X 2 marks each 75

Application Fee Details:
Irrespective of his/her category and gender, a candidate applying for WBJEE – 2013 has to pay Rs. 500/-
(Rupees five hundred) only, as application fee, through ONLINE mode. An extra service charge of Rs. 6/-
has to be paid by the candidates.

WBJEE is the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam for providing admissions to the engineering courses in the state of West Bengal.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination.

Applicant must secure minimum of 45% in aggregate (40% for SC/ST/PwD/OBC candidates)


Applicant must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and must have passed each subject individually

Applicant must secured a minimum of 30% marks in English


Age Limit:
17 years


WBJEE Paper Pattern:

The Exam will comprise of three papers:
Mathematics (100 marks),
Physics (50 marks)
Chemistry (50 Marks).

Total Marks: 200
Question type:MCQ Multiple Choice Questions

WBJEE 2015 Important Dates:

WBJEE 2015 Online Application Form:

Test Date: May 6, 2015

Result: By June 20, 2015

As you want to get information about WBJEE Entrance Exam for taking admission in engineering so here I am giving you same:

West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam for admissions to the engineering courses in the state of West Bengal.

It is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% in Math’s, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2 from a recognized board

Minimum of 50% in English is mandatory either at the Class X level or Class XII level.

Candidates must have passed individually in the subjects of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Vernacular and English.

Age Limit:
Minimum age is 17 years.
Maximum age is 25 years of age.

WBJEE Paper Pattern:
The Exam will comprise of three papers:

Mathematics (100 marks)

Physics (50 marks)

Chemistry (50 Marks)

Total Marks:
200

MCQ Multiple Choice Questions
