Guys, can you tell me the counseling dates of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination????

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination counsellling will be conducted in three rounds.A fourth round will be held if vacancies exist and students can register afresh as per guidelines.

For counseling of WBJEE candidates have to fill the application form, pay the counseling fees and mark options of colleges and courses to participate in Counseling of WBJEE.

WBJEE Counseling Schedule of 2014:

WBJEE Counseling Process:

Step 1 – WBJEE Online Registration and Fee Payment (8 to 15 July 2014)

Enter WBJEE/JEE Main 2014 roll number, application number, date of birth, name.

Download the e-challan to pay the WBJEE 2014 Counselling fee (non refundable) of Rs.506 at any branch of Allahabad Bank with Core Banking System (CBS).

Enter the e-challan payment details on the registration form.

Keep the printed copy of the registration form safe to present at the reporting center later on.


Step 2 – WBJEE Choice Filling and Locking (8 to 16 July – choice filling and 14 to 16 July 2014 – choice locking)

WBJEE Choice Filling can be done by candidates as per their exam – WBJEE or JEE Main.

In case both exams are attempted by the candidate, only one set of vacancies can be produced.

Registration, choice filling and locking can be done before WBJEE Counseling commences, not in between the rounds.

Take printout of the choices once they are filled by the candidate. Keep it safe for future reference.

Allotment will be done as per vacancies, candidates’ choices and reservation norms.


Step 3 – Seat Allotment of WBJEE

WBJEE Seat Allotment to be held on the basis of JEE Main AIR and WBJEE General Merit Rank.

Also the seats filled by the candidates in the options filling round will be accounted for.
Download the WBJEE Set Allotment letters from the official website and print it.

Candidate who has withdrawn from any of the 3 rounds cannot participate in any round till the fourth round where seats would be allotted on the basis of seat vacancies.


Step 4 - Document Verification and Fee Payment at RCs

Get documents verified at any of the RCs mentioned below. Pay the fees in form of DD in favor of WBJEE payable at Kolkata.

WBJEE Counseling Fee:
Fees for University/Govt. Institute: Rs.5000
Fee for TFW: Rs.4000
SFI: Rs.40000

WBJEE Counseling Documents:
Higher Secondary/Class XII Mark Sheet

Receipt of Online Counseling Registration Fee (E-challan receipt)

Step 5 - Provisional Admission

On successful verification of documents, submit one time admission and associated fees via DD.

WBJEE Provisional Allotment Certificate will be issued to the candidate on payment of the fees.

Its copy will be also sent to the DTE, WB; Vice Chancellor and Registrar of the concerned University; Principal of the allotted College and Secretary of the Association for Professional Academic Institutes (APAI).
