They say being in Goa is our biggest asset. And perhaps therein lies our secret; it’s a microcosm of the Land’s best experiences rolled into one infectious extravaganza that goes far beyond the definition of your average ‘culfest.’ But that isn’t the whole story- Hell, it’s not even close to that. We thrive on the unconventional, the supreme satisfaction of being the ones to stand out. You see that in our events, in our workshops and most of all in our Specials. The results are more than just visible. A Rock Event that stands unparalleled in the country. The small matters of Paintball letting you live out your most heinous desires. Legendary performances, sparkling demonstrations, world records and sizzling Nites to cap it all off- A rich legacy, hundreds of tales of glory and unmatched feats surround us. And we’re not even a decade old. This is the fastest growing social phenomenon in the country, this is Waves, annual culfest of the BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus. NITES Nites have always been the focal point of Waves, attracting the biggest crowds as well as creating the best spectacles. If one is to gauge the impact that Waves has had over the very few years of its existence, the Nites are the place to go to. The collective frenzy of thousands, combined with the sheer talent of the artists who’ve performed to date amidst the serenity of the 200-acre campus, put the Waves Nites in a special place of their own. Previous performers include the likes of KK, Kailash Kher, Shafqat Amanat Ali, Indian Ocean, Parikrama, Pakistani Rock act ‘Raeth,’ Carnatic Rock sensations ‘Agam,’DJ Sidharth Talwar (of Metallica Fame) and DJ Suketu, to name a few.
