WASE exam is online test i.e. internet based. The question paper is divided in to 3 broad sections namely:

Verbal: The questions will be asked from the topics synonyms, antonyms, sentence structuring, grammar, paragraph comprehension, etc.

Analytical: The syllabus of Analytical portion will be same as Verbal portion.

Mathematics: In this questions will be asked from the topics like Trigonometry, Calculus, Differentiation, Algebra, Integration, Matrices and Coordinate Geometry.

Sample paper:
1.Consider the following expressions indicating the step or impulse response of an initially relaxed control system-
1. (5 – 4e-2+) u(t)
2. (e-2t +5) (u(t))
3 .V(t) + 8e-2t u(t)
4 . V(t) + 4e-2t 4(t)


2.Which is the following relate to rational transfer function of a system-
1. Ratio of Fourier transform of output to input with zero initial conditions.
2. Ratio of Laplace transform of output to input with zero initial conditions.
3. Laplace transform of system impulse response.


3. Laplace transform of system unit step response select the correct answer using the codes given below. Codes
a.) 1 and 4
b.) 2 and 3
c.) 1 and 3
d.) 2 and 4

4.For the signal g (t) – 10 cos (50 pt) cos2 (150at) The Nyquist sampling state in t seconds is

The WASE program is a pioneering initiative in the field of higher education in India.
It offers the opportunity to take up an MS/M.Tech course in Computer Science without having to complete an engineering degree after graduation to B.Sc, BCA and BCM students.

The classes and evaluation sessions of the program are conducted on weekends.

Course Details


No. of semesters 8
Duration of each semester 4-5 months
First seven semesters Course work
Eighth semester Dissertation

Semester Details

Every semester comprises of:
Four courses
Sixteen weeks of contact classes
Four sessions are conducted every week on Saturday/Sunday
Every session runs for two hours
Activity distribution
For the first seven semesters

Monday to Friday Work on projects in assigned business units at Wipro
Saturday/Sunday Attend BITS classes

Eighth Semester

Devoted to dissertation work as stipulated by BITS

Written Communication Test (Online)

WiSTA- Without Maths - QP Sections:

Analytical (40 Questions)
Duration of the test is 60minutes
