As you want to join Merchant Navy after B.Tech in ECE so here I am providing you the process to join Merchant Navy.

For the Merchant Navy you need to take part in the IMU CET so here I am giving you the detail of the exam.

Eligibility

Applicants must be an Indian
Applicants must pass 12th with 55% from a recognized university without any backlogs.

Applicants must pass 3 year degree for Nautical Officer or other posts which suits for their qualification from recognized university.

Applicants must pass 4 years engineering degree for Engineer Officers and other related field officers or Engineers.
Applicants must be unmarried male candidate.

Physical Standard
Applicants must be physically and mentally fit.
Applicants height must be 163cm or above
Applicants Chest should be 86cm.

Selection Procedure
Applicants must qualify in the Written Examination conducted by the particular officials.
