Re: Want to Become Scientist, Is M.Tech Necessary to Do
It is necessary to pursue M.Tech for becoming Scientist, but only M.Tech in not enough. As you have passed the class 12th, you have a long way to go to become a scientist. First you have to do a graduation degree in any science subject, you can do B.Sc in any subject like physics, chemistry, maths, biotechnology-, depends on your interest. Or You can go for engg degree course. After that you'll go for master degree in the respective subject After completing master degree you'll go for P.hd in respective subject. After completing your P.hd you’ll become a scientist. The you can apply for ISRO (Indian Space Reasearch Organisation) for a scientist, in ISRO you can do research work. Selection Process : The candidate should have First Class with minimum 65% marks in the Qualifying Degree ie, BE/B.Tech or equivalent. Based on the academic performance and bio-data, initial screening will be conducted and a higher cut-off percentage may be adopted to short-list candidates for taking-up written test. |
