Some other details about the Universityl:- Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) is a Semi Urban University which was established under the South Gujarat University Act, 1965, passed by the Gujarat State Legislative Assembly. It became functional from the academic year of 1966 and was incorporated as a University on 23 May, 1967.
