Is VIT deemed University?

Is VIT now a Deemed University, if yes then I am looking for the document that authorize VIT to be a deemed university. Really it’s a great achievement for institute to get the status of Deemed University. So regarding my confirmation provides me with the needful. Help will be appreciated.
