MAIN EXAMINATION SUMMARY:
The written examination will consist of the following papers totalling to 1750 marks. An interview / personality test would be conducted for 275 marks. This adds up to a total of 2025 marks.

Paper-I
One of the Indian Languages to be selected by the candidate from the 18 languages included in the 8th Schedule to the Constitution (Qualifying Paper) 300 Marks
Paper-II English (Qualifying Paper) 300 Marks
Paper-III Essay 250 Marks
Papers IV, V, VI & VII General Studies (250 Marks for each paper) 1000 Marks
Papers VIII & IX

Any one Optional subject (which contains 2 papers) to be selected from the prescribed optional subjects (250 marks for each paper) 500 Marks

INTERVIEW / PERSONALITY TEST 275 Marks
